Further to the club’s previous updates on Panama Canal draft restrictions, the ACP (Panama Canal Authority) has issued an Advisory to Shipping (No.A-29-2016) announcing the suspension of the second draft restriction due to the rainfall during the past week.

Further to the club’s previous updates on Panama Canal draft restrictions, the ACP (Panama Canal Authority) has issued an Advisory to Shipping (No.A-29-2016) announcing the suspension of the second draft restriction due to the rainfall during the past week. The maximum allowed transit draft is now increased to 11.89m (39.00 feet) TFW until further notice.
 
The Panama Canal Authority has also issued an Advisory to Shipping (No.A-30-2016), referring to the updated draft restriction for the new Neopanamax locks, which will be effective 27 June 2016. From this date, the maximum authorised transit draft will be set at 13.11m (43.0 feet) TFW.
