Kidnap & Ransom

The fixed-premium kidnap & ransom policy includes cover for:

• ransom payments and any associated expenses
• loss of ransom in transit
• crew liabilities arising from acts of piracy and kidnap
• cost of independent crisis management consultants
• loss of hire

Ransom payments and associated expenses cover will normally be limited to $10m per insured event and $2.5m for loss of hire, though higher limits can be arranged.
