Ursula O'Donnell, Divisional Claims Director, has contributed an article to September's issue of Maritime Risk International discussing floating offshore wind energy and new opportunities for marine contractors. 

She explains that while traditional fixed-bottom wind farms are expected to continue to dominate the market up to 2030, as wind turbines become larger and more powerful, the next few years will be important in terms of the development of offshore floating wind technology on a commercial scale. She discusses the opportunities and challenges for marine contractors, their brokers and insurers.
