The 2015 Singapore Offshore Forum, hosted by The Standard Club, was a unique opportunity for members who are involved in the offshore industry to meet and discuss the current industry issues.
The 2015 Singapore Offshore Forum was a unique opportunity for members who are involved in the offshore industry to meet and discuss the current industry issues. The forum was open to members, non-members and our market underwriters and was intended to stimulate debate and advance attendees' knowledge and experience of the issues discussed.
The focus this year was on offshore dismantling and removal. We discussed the current offshore market and its future outlook, with a focus on decommissioning - the technical and operational risks involved and the insurance solutions that are available from both The Standard Club and the wider market.
The forum also considered the comparative approaches to causation, look at club offshore claims trends, the changes in the offshore landscape and how the club has adapted over the years to keep pace with developments. In closing, Robert Dorey introduced The Standard Syndicate 1884.
