Members are advised that the Houston Ship Channel has experienced recent closures due to the severe weather in the state of Texas. The historic low temperatures in Texas has significantly disrupted refining and crude production and widespread electricity outages are affecting terminal facilities operations. The US Coast Guard has issued a Marine Safety Information Bulletin on the storm and encourages port facilities to assess infrastructure which may have been compromised during the storm. Members should note that arrival and departure delays may be encountered.
