Yves Vandenborn, Director of Loss Prevention, is continuing our ongoing support of the Nautical Institute by speaking at The Nautical Institute Command Seminar in Singapore.
The focus of the seminar is navigation accidents and their causes. Yves will be discussing this from an insurer’s perspective, using accident statistics and findings to help shipowners understand and prevent navigation based accidents. He will also emphasise how navigation assessments can help, following the club’s recent contribution to The Nautical Institute’s publication ‘Navigation Assessments: A guide to best practice’.
