In a call for compassion and understanding, Director of Loss Prevention at the club, Captain Yves Vandenborn highlights another tragic legacy of COVID-19, seafarers subjected to abuse, neglect and prejudice.

Given the lack of understanding regarding the nature of Covid-19, the world continues to struggle with fears about the disease and the increasing death toll worldwide. These worries have become unfairly associated with the movement of seafarers, plaguing the profession with the accompanying prejudice.
