US Coast Guard stated its intention to grant a 3 month extension beyond July 31st of Interim Operating Authorizations (IOAs) for non-tank vessels
US Coast Guard stated its intention to grant a 3 month extension beyond July 31st of Interim Operating Authorizations (IOAs) for non-tank vessels that have submitted a vessel response plan, which includes an approved pre-fire plan.
Non-tank vessel owners or operators who have yet to submit the required pre-fire plan documents to their salvage and marine fire fighting resource provider are strongly urged to do so as soon as possible, in order to allow the provider sufficient time to review and forward to US Coast Guard for approval.
