What you will be doing
Calling all litigators!

We have an exciting opportunity to join our industry leading, award winning FD&D team, which specialises in international shipping litigation and dispute resolution. 

As part of the FD&D team, you will handle a wide variety of contractual and tortious claims for our global membership of shipowners and charterers, with most of the work being handled in house, including running London arbitrations and advising on all aspects of world and industry events. This is an interesting, varied, and challenging role where you will work closely and forge strong relationships with our members in a friendly and supportive environment.
Your profile
You should be a qualified Barrister, Solicitor or overseas Lawyer, with strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work well under pressure. 

A shipping law background, with good working knowledge of English contract law is preferred but not essential. Many of our FD&D lawyers have commercial litigation backgrounds and have easily transitioned to shipping with the help of our comprehensive training and development programme. 

Ideally, you will also be IT literate, with working knowledge of MS Office.
