Under Section 7001 of OPA 90, the Interagency Coordinating Committee on Oil Pollution Research (ICCOPR) is required to establish a Federal oil pollution R&D program.
Under Section 7001 of OPA 90, the Interagency Coordinating Committee on Oil Pollution Research (ICCOPR) is required to establish a Federal oil pollution R&D program. On 29 September 2015, ICCOPR approved their 6-year plan (2015-2021) which confirms their intention to focus the long term research programme on autonomous oil spill response as well as recovery technology in challenging environments such as the Arctic.
