Our correspondent Dias Marine Consulting reports that the Ukraine Cabinet of Ministers has abolished the Ecological Inspection Service. It is to be replaced with the State Environmental Service. The new service is likely to start operating in early September. There is a hope that this new service will provide a fairer and more reasonable approach in relation to vessels calling at Ukraine.
