Gavin is a qualified chartered accountant who trained in PwC’s Dublin and Vancouver offices from 1994 to 2001. He joined Charles Taylor in 2002 as the Financial Controller for Charles Taylor’s Bermuda office. From 2006 to 2016 he was responsible for managing the company’s Dublin-based non-life run-off operation and was appointed as Charles Taylor’s Non-Life Group Director. Gavin was appointed CEO of Beech Hill Insurance Limited, an Irish regulated non-life run-off insurer in 2008 and also Finance Director of two of Charles Taylor’s UK-based non-life run-off companies in 2012. He moved to the UK in 2017 to assume his role with the management of The Strike Club.
