Press article: London would suffer if shipping sailed off

15 September 2015

The Standard Club hosted a breakfast debate at London International Shipping Week, entitled 'London - the global shipping service centre in 2050?'. Inga Beale, chief executive of Lloyd’s of London, led the case for London staying on top, along with Martin Stopford, non-Executive President at Clarkson Research Services. The opposition was argued by Esben Poulsson, president of the Singapore Shipping Association and Sabrina Chao, Chairman of Wah Kwong Maritime Transport Holdings Ltd.

The outcome of the discussion is reported in the Evening Standard. Read the full article here.
