Web Alert: Brazil launches SISTRAM - Marine Traffic Information System

Please find attached circular on a newly launched Marine Traffic Information System for Brazilian waters.

SISTRAM will be launched on 14 January 2014. Foreign flag ships are invited to report routes and occurrences while sailing in the Brazilian jurisdictional waters (200 miles from the coast) and obligated to report routes and any eventual navigation facts while sailing in the Brazilian Territory (12 miles from the coast).
