New York Forum

Following its success in 2014, our biennial Forum returned to New York on Tuesday 24 May 2016, comprising daytime forum followed by an evening drinks reception.

The forum was a unique opportunity for an open dialogue between Standard Club members, operators in the North American maritime industry and our colleagues within the Charles Taylor group. Internal and external speakers presented on relevant industry topics including personal injury issues, P&I cover issues and regulatory hot topics throughout the day. The event was intended to stimulate debate and advance attendees' knowledge and experience of the issues discussed - targeting all members of The Standard Club, and other owners and charterers with a presence in the North American market.

The general topics for discussion and the presentations given by our speakers were well received and the event continues to grow in success.
