The Standard Club is a mutual, and so is owned by its shipowner members and
controlled by a board of directors drawn from the membership. Day-to-day
administration of the Club is carried out by the Managers, Charles Taylor &
Co ( Bermuda) and associated companies within the
Charles Taylor Consulting plc group.

Standard Bermuda is the principal member of the Standard P&I Club group.
Its subsidiaries include:

Standard Europe, which insures those members who benefit from being insured in a EU-incorporated insurer

Standard Asia, incorporated in Singapore , which provides for Asia-Pacific
members the strength of the Standard Club combined with the focus of a club
incorporated and managed in the region

Standard Bermuda has a sister Club, Standard London, which specialises in insuring small craft trading in inland waterways and harbours, and short sea trades
