An emphasis on safety and loss prevention is core to the club’s drive in ensuring that the tonnage entered into the club is of good quality. In addition, the club is committed to assisting members in reducing the number of accidents and claims. This is achieved through a programme of ship condition surveys, management risk reviews, publications, presentations and training focussed on topical subjects.
The club provides safety and loss prevention training to members through regional and member-specific seminars on a range of topics. The club can also participate in members’ own training programmes.
